At the invitation of FAO Director-General Jacques Diouf, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will deliver remarks on the state of global food security and food price volatility. Secretary Clinton will address the leadership of the UN agencies and international organizations based in Rome, and the Permanent Representatives to these bodies, including FAO, the World Food Programme (WFP), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the International Development Law Organization (IDLO), the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM), and the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT).
