08 January 2011, Coraile - A man cutting up tires for use as containers for plants in an Urban Agriculture Center in the camp for internally displaced persons (IDP) where people have been living in tents since last year's earthquake of 12 January 2010.
FAO Project: OSRO/HAI/004/CHA - Urban agriculture to promote food security for victims of the 12 January 2010 earthquake. Emergency relief for 15,000 families living in internally displaced persons camps in peri-urban zones. The project objectives are to improve nutrition, availability of foods as well as living conditions through urban agriculture.
