09 October 2018, Izmir, Turkey - Hasan Abdalaziz (right) is a Syrian beneficiary being trained at Ege Ata Bread Company in Bornova, Izmir province Turkey, during On-the Job training under the OSRO/TUR/701/HCR project, targeting Syrian refugees and host communities. Purposes of the OSRO/TUR/701/HCR FAO Project are to develop and build vocational skills of 900 people (70 % Syrian refugees and 30 % from host communities, and at least 30 % of participants will be selected from among women) in the agriculture sector (primary production and processing) and provide them sustainable employment opportunities in 5 provinces of South East Turkey (Adana, Isparta, Gaziantep, Mersin and Sanliurfa).
