12 June 2012, Dlbissi, Burkina Faso - Local inhabitants awaiting distribution of animal feed for their malnourished livestock. Due to severe drought and lack of foliage and grasses many livestock are undernourished. This is an operation undertaken by FAO to vaccinate malnourished livestock, provide feed for them and improve food security of the local population as well as of refugees arriving from Mali with their livestock.

Contributing to the improvement of food security to populations most affected by harsh climate changes through distribution and availability of improved seeds for rural market gardens.
