With EU funding under the Enhanced Rural Resilience in Yemen (ERRY) project, FAO is providing support to farmers to increase milk production and improve hygiene. The project focuses on supporting the most vulnerable people such as women, the unemployed, youth, minority/marginalized groups, internally displaced people (IDPs) and stressed host communities.
FAO project OSRO/YEM/504/EC: Enhanced Rural Resilience in Yemen. It is funded by the EC and its overall objective is to enhance the resilience and self-reliance of crisis-affected rural communities through support to livelihoods stabilization and recovery, local governance and improved access to sustainable energy.
