20 February 2020, Yupukari - A group of freshwater river turtles seen at the Yupukari Turtle rescue center. These animals will be raised to a point where they are healed and strong and then released along the Rupununi river. Turtle eggs are also raised at the center, giving the baby turtles a far greater chance of survival in the wild.
