22 October 2010, Somoni - A local veterinarian traveling by bicycle to a farm that is in need of his services. Through the help of an FAO project financed by Sweden he is among many veterinarians that have been able to open up and maintain a thriving veterinarian practice with improved medicines and training.

The Development Objective is to increase household food security by enhancing the productivity of family livestock whilst strengthening national private sector capacities to respond to animal health concerns.
