27 January 2020, Taveta, Kenya - Rose is harvesting French beans at one of Njukini Corporative's farms. The French beans will be picked up in the afternoon and taken to Nairobi for export.
Njukini Corporative is a group of 347 members who farm 763.4 acres in total, they have build cemented canals from the spring waters, and grow a wide range of vegetables and fruits for both export and internal market.
These include: Eggplant, Chillies, Cabbages, Spinach, Lettuce, French Beans, and Pumpkin.
For fruits, they grow: Avocadoes, apples, mangoes, oranges and watermelon.
