31 May 2019, Dehkonobod, Tajikistan - FAO matching grant beneficiary Rashid Buzurov working in his garden. The head of the eight-member family used to work in Russia as a labour migrant. He got engaged in agriculture since coming back. From the grant Rashid wants to start a flower business and transfer it to his wife.
The family received support from the ^Developing Capacity for Strengthening Food Security and Nutrition in Selected Countries of the Caucasus and Central Asia^ project. The ultimate goal is to channel remittances of the seasonal labour migrant father into something productive, and, eventually, prevent him for migration in the future.
