31 May 2019, Muminobod, Tajikistan - New and local wheat varieties are grown in the 17 hectare breeding trial field, established under an FAO project. New varieties are more resistant, tolerant, have better yield and quality.
Part of it is utilized as a seed production site, run by the Seed Association of Tajikistan as a continuation of the FAO project. It is also a training location for farmers.
