8 March, 2017, Bandar Beyla, Somalia - FAO Livestock Sector Coordinator , Khalid Saeed shows Mahal Abdillahi Mohamed to treat his goats against parasites and other diseases, near the village of Bandar Beyla, Puntland, Somalia. Pastoralist are moving their livestock East towards the ocean where there is still grazing to be found. This put the area under a lot of pressure as people and livestock are competing for the few resources available during the drought. Once completed the water reservoir will ease some of the water needs for the area.
