Afghanistan, 1952. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations has sent to Afghanistan a team of specialists in animal production, agricultural extension services, seed improvement, sugar-beet production, small implements, etc., to help that country increase its agricultural production and raise the living standard of its population.
