FAO Telefood Project TFD-03/DOM/001: Rehabilitation of the Sazón agroindustry through a women's cooperative in the town of El Estero. The objective of the project is to improve economic development through capacity building opportunities within the El Estero community by means of financial and technical support to the Women's Union and Welfare Association, a cooperative that has revived Sazón production as an agroindustrial business. Sazón is a Dominican seasoning condiment widely used in local cuisine.
