Through the efforts of consultants and extension workers the Project is carrying out fertilizer demonstrations in several provinces of Cambodia. The project provides logistic and agronomic support to fertilizer donations (52,000 Ton from 1992 to 1996). The agronomic support consists in: Training of extensionists and agronomists : extension (1600 demonstration fields from 92 to 96) and applied research to determine the best nutrient doses and fertilizers for the main rice systems.
