After two months the fish are given to restaurants and shops in the Anjar Valley where they are kept for another four to five months before being eaten. The Anjar Valley is a resort area where people come from Beirut to relax in the summer and it is particularly well known for its fish restaurants. - - Local Support to the Rehabilitation of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries: UTFN/LEB/002/LEB.
