This family has benefited from the FAO project Modernization of small-scale irrigated agriculture to enhance and diversify rural livelihoods. They received training in improved farming methods and especially how to manage irrigation water correctly. Their income has increased thanks to the project, which was funded by Austria and the World Bank.
