03 April 2015, Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire - International Conference for the Control and Eradication of Peste des Petits Ruminants (PPR) organized by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE), 31 March - 2 April 2015, Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire. The conference objectives are to present and adopt the global control and eradication strategy prepared by the FAO-OIE Global Framework for the Progressive Control of Transboundary Animal Diseases (GF-TADs) Working Group on PPR. Representatives from around 70 countries are attending the Abidjan conference, along with representatives from donor agencies, the scientific community, the private sector and civil society.
