03 June 2015, Milan - Arid zones - Drylands make up more than 40% of the Earth's land surface, cover more than 100 countries and are the basis for livelihoods of more than 2 billion people. The UN space in the Cluster of Arid zones outlines the United Nations projects in support of the populations living in arid zones. The UN is present with 18 multimedia installations, easily recognizable by their giant blue spoons. These UN Spaces are located in various areas of the site along the itinerary dedicated to the theme "The Zero Hunger Challenge ?United for a sustainable world".
