Background information
FAO Deputy Director General Ms. Beth Bechdol traveled to Kenya to raise awareness of the Horn of Africa drought currently effecting the region. In addition to meeting with government authorities and development partners, the mission traveled to Isiolo and Marsabit where distribution of agricultural inputs was taking place.
