12 November 2015, Canino (Viterbo), Italy - An employee explaining to a customer the qualities of the olive oil (OSCC - Oleificio Sociale Cooperativo di Canino). The adoption of an integrated pest management technique in agriculture - specially in olive groves - has created a virtuous circle allowing its diffusion among farmers in Italy. ?Canino, an area in Northern Latium, has become an Italian success story and a great example of collaboration between the world of research - ENEA - and the world of production.
IMPRESA - The Impact of Research on EU Agriculture is a 38 months research project implemented between November 2013 and December 2016. IMPRESA comprises 9 participants from Research Institutes, Universities, International Organisations and an SME, from 6 European countries.
