13 June 2007, Rome - Cary Fowler and Monica Martinez Menduino, Counsellor from the Embassy of Ecuador, receiving the award given to the Global Crop Diversity Trust from Ecuador, at FAO Headquarters. The GCDT received the award as a recognition for the grant given to Ecuador for the upgrade of their genebank.
