Mrs. Fatuma Abdi Dalmar has been a farmer her entire life, her father was a farmer, as her grand father. Her crops have been heavily efected by invading locusts swarms. She lost almost all of her crops. She was about to bear one of the richest harvest of the region, she believes that was the main reason for the locusts to attack her yields.
Pictured are the home and compound of mrs. Fatuma Abdi, and two of her children. Mrs. Fatuma Abdi is concerned that she won't be able to feed her five children in the near future due to the loss of harvest, mainly sorghum.
