14 March 2022, Kolambugan, Lanao del Norte, Philippines - Andy Apali, 51, cleans the seaweed he farms next to the fish pen he also manages (out of frame). The pen holds about 20.000 bangus (milkfish) which takes about four months to grow from fingerlings to a marketable size. Fish pen is the term mostly used locally for a facility that is stationary with bamboo stakes hammered into the sea bed. Fish cages are most often free floating in deeper water.
