15 April 2020, Madagascar - Cecile, a rice producer and beneficiary of the project, stands proudly in her rice field. Through FAO's South-South Cooperation project between China and Madagascar, participants are hoping that a better-yielding variety of rice will help ensure the country's food security and reduce its reliance on imports of this staple.
