Alongside the lecture series FAO will also hold a ceremony to mark the signing of a memorandum of understanding between FAO and the Italian university Roma Tre (R3) for a pilot initiative in which the Organization will directly contribute its knowledge and expertise to the university's master's programmes. The agreement underlines FAO efforts to raise awareness on the multiple issues linked to food security and nutrition and is an exceptional case in which FAO learning materials are available for use by a university faculty to enhance their masters programme curricula.
