FAO's programme for the integration of quinoa production and llamas considers also the improvment of breeding techniques and veterinary care. This is part of Project FOOD4, a project in collaboration with the European Journalism Center (EJC), the Italian Foreign ministry, the International Cooperation and FAO, aimed to explain food security issues through articles, maps and photoreportages.
