An FAO field personnel explains the process of distribution and the principles of accountability to affected populations to farmers and fishers in Pigkawayan Municipality who will receive livelihood recovery assistance through a New Zealand-funded FAO project. The primary objective of this New Zealand-funded FAO project is to contribute to the attainment of sustainable peace and development in the province by supporting the government in the restoration and building the resilience of agriculture- and fisheries-based livelihoods affected by conflict, drought and flooding.
