    24 April, 2017, Lurambi, Kakamega County, western Kenya - Staff members at Joyce Makaka's Jafi Enterprises tilapia and catfish farm drain out a catfish pond as they seek for fertile individuals for propagation. Joyce's Jafi Enterprises fish project is a beneficiary of FAO's Africa Solidarity Trust Fund (ASTF), an innovative fund to improve agriculture and food security across the continent, breeding exotic and indigenous species of Tilapia and Catfish alongside ornamental species that include Goldfish and Cod for sale in the Kenyan market.
