24 August 2016, Bokonbayevo Kyrgyzstan - Azamat Kaseev with his son inspects quinoa plantations in the village of Bokonbayevo 270 km from Bishkek. Purposes of the 2 FAO projects are to improve livestock productivity through establishing district-based cattle producer associations for training and service delivery; access to better feeds, both quality forages and compound feeds; disseminating modern livestock farm husbandry and management practices, such as preventive health, milk sanitation; animal registration and identification; and support modern milk marketing associations in order to organize milk producers and to revive inland fishery and aquaculture in the Kyrgyz Republic and contribute towards sustainable management of ecosystem services of Issyk-Kul lake to increase national fish production and strengthen Right to Food.
