26 May 2015, Taroudant, Morocco - Hatim Nourredine, Chief, Protection Plant Service, of the Sanitary Food Safety National Office, (ONSSA), checking Citrus production and packaging at Domaine Elboura orchard. Domaine Elboura, located 75 km from Agadir, produces fruit and vegetables in a natural way. Chemical treatments are avoided as much as possible but when unavoidable they are subject to a very strict regulation. The Domaine also implements SIT ( Sterile Insects Techniques) to control and fight parasitoids and predators such as the Medfly , Ceratitis Capitata.
