29 July 2019, Lattakia. Syria - Syria - Dima Jedeed, from Lattakia Governorate, is a 34-year-old woman working in a small juices processing-unit to support her young children. She looks forward to meet other rural women in Italy to introduced her food heritage and exchange knowledge with them. Dima and other rural women in Lattakia searched for a suitable job circumstances to manage generating income and spend time to raise their children. The juices processing unit allowed rural women to produce standardized food products and improve their technical skills.
