This project is executed by the Technical Cooperation Programme (TCP) of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in areas with the highest level of nutritional deficiencies in children. The districts are Veraguas, Chiriqui and Boca del Toro, including San Blas island. The aims of the project are to teach local communities how to cultivate and prepare various species of fruit and vegetables, some of which are unknown to them.
