Basutoland, (Lesotho from 1966), May 1966. The Food and Agriculture Organization and the United Nations Children's Fund have combined forces to help the government of the country teach its people about food and nutrition education. A very important part of this scheme is the teaching of village women; besides FAO nutrition experts such as Miss E.T. Krock (USA), there are 30 assistant nutritionists in the field, who give demonstrations and lectures with visual aids.
