In that meeting, Dr Diouf emphasized the importance of addressing the issue of climate change and bio-energy in the context of world food security. In this regard, Dr Diouf expressed his intension to hold a high level conference on World Food Security and the challenges of Climate Change and Bio-energy, subject to the approval of the FAO Conference in November.
