The social and economic organisation of "ejidos" (i.e. the basic structures that were created during the Agricultural Reform) of the communities and small producers, have not met the aims of the Agricultural Reform that followed the Mexican Revolution. The possibility for farmers to obtain the benefits from the agricultural distribution has not been achieved. The main objectives of the project are the increase of farmers' incomes, support for their active participation in the identification, formulation and execution of production projects and the creation of new employment opportunities.
