Quebec, Canada, 1995 - Exhibition in conjunction with the 50th Anniversary International Symposium held in Quebec City, Canada, that was followed by a special Ministerial Meeting on food security. A 50th Anniversary Declaration on Food and Agriculture was approved. On 16 October 1995, World Food Day, the representatives of the 171 members of the Food and Agriuclture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) gathered here to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary and to reaffirm the principles and objectives of the Organization.
